Letter from Athletic Director

Dear Visitors,

Welcome to the Athletics Department section of the Notre Dame High School for Girls website. If you are reading this letter, I suspect you’re either an alumni checking up on your alma mater’s athletic accomplishments, a parent looking up a schedule for upcoming games and events, or you’re a prospective student trying to figure out if Notre Dame for Girls might be the place for you.

I think you’ll see that Notre Dame athletic teams have performed a complete 180 from seasons in the past.  Our win totals are up, as well as team unity and moral. Moreover, our student athletes are an integral part of our school environment and identity. The skills that they learn on the field and the court are being applied in the classroom as well.  Effectively, preparing our girls for the next level after high school; this being a first class college education.

If you’re a student looking for a high school with academic and athletic enrichment, I would recommend ND.  Notre Dame High School for Girls is an institution which clearly has exemplified a strong tradition of academic excellence and athletic integrity for over 70 years.  It is no secret that when you hear the words “Notre Dame Graduate”, many words and attributes come to mind, but the one most commonly associated word I believe you will find is “SUCCESSFUL.”  This is not only a testament to our outstanding faculty, but our coaching staff as well, who push our girls to reach and realize their potential in life.
