Enrollment Process
As an 8th grader, the enrollment process is your first step to becoming a Panther!
Shadow Days
Shadow days are an exciting and important step in choosing a high school. During shadow day visits, interested students are matched up with a student in the school. You will follow your sponsor’s class schedule, have lunch and meet the teachers as well as the rest of the student body. Click here for a shadow day form and more information.
Personal Tours
Personal tours are available for families (parents and students) who are interested in seeing the school. The tours allow families to get answers to some of their questions, see the classes in session and truly see the happenings of the daily life of our students. For more information please call the Main Office.
Open Houses
Open Houses occur when classes are not in session. Guided tours by the National Honor Students and the Admissions Department are given, along with an opportunity to meet teachers. Opportunities to academics, extra-curricular activities, athletics, campus ministry, and other offerings are discovered at our Open Houses.
Entrance Exam
All 8th grade students interested in applying to Notre Dame High School for Girls are required to take the entrance exam in January. Pencils, calculators and social security numbers are required. Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed in the testing rooms.
Acceptance Notification
Acceptance letters will be mailed after the entrance exams have been scored.
Application for Admission
The application packet will be mailed with the acceptance letter, all following the entrance exam. All portions must be completed before returning to the school.
Registration
Registering includes picking up a recommended schedule as well as payment of the registration fee.
Campus Involvement
Once registration is complete, students are allowed to partake in summer camps and conditioning for fall sports.
Orientation
Orientation is a day set in August that allows Freshmen to become comfortable with the building and their experience here at Notre Dame High School for Girls. It is a time for the Freshmen class to meet each other, their teachers, practice their schedule and receive locker information.
