HOMECOMING 2009 ~ HALL OF FAME INDUCTION

November 8, 2009 was a very special day for Notre Dame High School for Girls. On that day we celebrated our 2009 Homecoming Mass and Luncheon at our new home on Mason Avenue! It was an opportunity for over 70 friends and family to reconnect and honor Notre Dame Alumna, Sr. Adrienne Weseman ‘47.

Rev. Raymond O’ Connor celebrated the Homecoming Mass at his alma mater of St. Ferdinand parish; so needless to say, he was quite at home himself!  Fr. Raymond’s reflective homily echoed the Homecoming theme of, “Come, Let Us Sow Seeds of Faith.” After the Mass, all made way to the Campus Activity Center which provided a lovely space for us to gather to enjoy a tantalizing brunch that was prepared by Lido Banquets.

Notre Dame High School for Girls then honored Sr. Adrienne Weseman ’47 for her 59 years of dedication to her ministry of teaching. There was a special Hall of Fame presentation made by Notre Dame graduate Sr. Joan Shields ’56 to officially induct Sr. Adrienne into the Alumnae Hall of Fame.
