National Honor Society

The National Honors Society of Notre Dame High School for Girls is part of a nationwide organization that consists of many chapters in high schools.  Membership into NHS is based on four criteria: service, leadership, scholarship and character.  Each year the NHS chapter of Notre Dame High School hosts an annual Turkey-Thon to raise funds for a community non-profit organization and a Christmas Mail service for the school community.  NHS members regularly support and volunteer to many of the school events including open houses, alumnae reunions, the annual alumnae Homecoming and the annual Spring Tea.  Additionally, NHS member help to review the course catalogue and make recommendations to the administration about possible courses to be added.
